Signals & Systems Department has field of interest in theory and practice of process control, optimization, estimation, system identification, computer control, digital signal processing, artificial intelligence and neural networks, biomedical engineering and mechatronics.
According to their interests, students of Signals & Systems Department are being educated through adequate courses in the following fields:
- Process Control - design and implementation of control systems for the industry, power production and distribution systems, military systems, medicine, robotics, research and development)
- Signal Processing - design and implementation of signal processing systems for telecommunication, biomedicine, economy and object recognition
- Mechatronics - multidisciplinary research and development for robotics, automatization of production, autonomous vehicles and trajectory control
- BioMedical Instrumentation and Technologies - acquisition and processing of biomedical signals, medical instrumentation design, neural engineering, clinical engineering, modelling of biophysical systems
