Successful First BAW Conference!

First Brain Awareness Week Conference titled "Brain-Computer Interface from Student-to-Student Interface (BCI from SSI)" was held on March 14th 2014 at the University of Belgrade - School of Electrical Engineering. Cofounder of the BAW seminar in the 2011. and scientific commitee president of the First BCI from SSI Conference, prof. Mirjana B. Popović opened the Conference and welcomed students, clinical partners, companies, and researchers. Special guest lecture was held by prof. Natalie Mrachacz-Kersting from Aalborg University, Denmark on "An Accurate, Versatile, and Robust Brain Switch for Neurorehabilitation". National Instruments provided prizes for the best student project. Marija Avramović (4th year Bachelor student at the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade ETF UB) and Milijana Miladinović (3rd year Bachelor student at the ETF UB) won First place and NI Course Kits. Second place and acknowledgement went to Jelena Kljajić and Milena Okošanović both 4th year Bachelor students at the ETF UB.
